For this style we value and maintain the dynamics in light distributions, while adjusting all other aspects for improvements. Mellow focus on the “cozy light play” between the ambient light and shadows. We don’t try to even out the light distribution but do distinguish the differences between the dark areas and shadow. Most bathrooms, toilets and wet-rooms seldom have a good ambient light/shadow balance, and in these cases, they often be edited in a  style of their own, more like the Sparks style. 

The style set a clear demand on the input material. The exposure need to be heavy (or fully) emphasize on ambient light. Although it would be acceptable that these type of images are slightly underexposed, which commonly filled in with flash. If flash become dominated, you are advised to go with Spark style.
