ENHANCED VIEW

Description: Optimize colors, contrast and details, but at the same time keep the view close to its natural look.  However, in most cases, we would keep it slightly brighter than interior and maybe not 100% dynamics. Color cast correction when needed. Sky replacement if requested

Exception: When the input material is not good enough for editing (see HDR editing for details) or the view is unflattering.

Requirement: Bracketed exposures must be set to capture the whole view (see HDR editing for details)

Reminder: With a “heavy”, strong view, the room may seem a bit darker and closed off. The view now look more like a picture on the wall instead of an opening and sources of light

LIGHT VIEW

Description: Slightly enhanced and bright view, but clear and detailed. Color, contrast and details are enhanced if needed. If the original view is looking dark for no good reasons, and it does not fit the look of the output we will consider making it brighter. Color cast correction if needed

Exception:

  • When the input material is not good enough for editing or unflattering view
  • Photo that focus on the view as the main subject

Reminder: Sky replacement is not recommended in this type of view. As normally a high exposure view would avoid showing the sky.

BRIGHT VIEW

Description: The view is very bright. We will keep try to slight details in the view but the goal is for the windows are the obvious main sources of light. Maintaining the brightness and consider making some views brighter to fit with the overall collection of images.

RADIANT VIEW

Description: Total Blown-out view, showing basically no view at all. You can only sense what´s outside the window, as if it was shot in backlight.

Very bright and desaturated view.
Gives the look of the window as the natural light source of the image.
